Che Shale Kite School was the first school to open in East Africa 12 years ago. We are considered the pioneers of Kitesurfing in Kenya and we are passionate about the sport.
We ride the latest BEST Kiteboarding equipment; they are great for learning, easy to manoeuver and very versatile in low and high wind.
When you sign up for a course, you will be kited out from head to toe with kite, board, harness, helmet and life vests.
We normally have 3 to 6 instructors at the school. Most our courses are group courses with 2 to 3 students by instructors, but it depends on how busy we are. During December, January and August we recommend you reserve your course well in advance.
Riders who are staying at Che Shale can store their equipment in the kite school free of charge.
