Che Shale's Kitesurf Competition - 2010

Here is a peek at what you missed (or enjoyed if you were with us) on August 23rd and 24th 2010!

Thanks to very generous donations for our raffle from our local businesses, the event
raised funds for Watamu Turtle Watch - a charity which is close to our hearts. Whenever
we kite along the reef and happen to encounter these magnificent creatures, we are
reminded of why they need our help to continue to survive and thrive on the Kenya Coast!

Special thanks to: Jon Whelan, our talented Graphic Designer; Rory McGuinness, our very
entertaining MC; Boris Polo our super organized Beach Master, our devoted Judges Herve
and Tony, Linzi and her models for organizing a glamorous fashion show, and last but not
